<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Dirk Nowitzki was held out of practice Thursday as a precaution, but his vision was good and it appears he'll be available to play tonight against Sacramento. "I put up two fingers and he said, 'two million,' " Mavericks coach Avery Johnson said. "So he still knows how to count." Nowitzki left Wednesday night's game in the first quarter with blurry vision, the result of a bruised retina in his right eye. After visiting an eye specialist, Nowitzki returned to the arena and said he felt relieved there wasn't a more serious problem. "Everybody knows I don't really like to sit out," he said. "It's nothing major, so hopefully I'll be back in action Friday. If it comes back, I'll have to sit down." Nowitzki spent Thursday riding the stationary bike while the rest of the Mavericks practiced. "He's improved," Johnson said. "We'll see how he feels when he comes to shootaround." The practice was geared to get plenty of work for Devean George and D.J. Mbenga. Both players are coming off injuries, and Johnson said he wants to see both get into better shape as soon as possible. Mbenga has been out since late in the preseason because of a left foot injury. "I'm ready to go," Mbenga said. </div> Source
