    Just looking at the current list of centers in free agency, aside from Gortat that you listed there are a few guys that could be potentially useful.

    Alexis Ajinca, very long though probably not the fit we are looking for.

    Cole Aldrich, nothing special but serviceable.

    Omer Asik, haven’t seen him for awhile but remember his defensive prowess.

    George Papagiannis, familiarity to the organization.

    like the Platypus said, it's not an option for this season

    Portland has Kanter, Zach, Meyers, & Skal. And they have Aminu, Harkless, and Layman to plug into PF minutes. Nobody they pick up off the scrap heap is going to make a difference. Besides, they'd have to waive somebody to sign somebody
