I play guitar in this one

Let me know what you think....? I think we have a nice mix of that old school with some new stuff thrown in there. If your prudish on rougher vocals then this might not be for you!

    Just being honest...

The overall product in all 4 songs is absolute crap. But thats looking overall keep in mind.

I'll start with the good. The musical competition is quite good. The guitars and percussion is good.

The vocals absolutely suck. They are just so overwhelmingly horrible. Its like, okay, this is a pretty good song to listen to until the vocals come on. They're just that damn bad. Its not that that style can't work, but the vocals are just horrible, probably the worst I've heard in my life. They don't really serve any purpose. Maybe the lyrics serve a purpose to the song, but you can't understand a word the guy is saying. I don't think people are going to want to be reading lyrics to know whats going on in the song. The vocals need a lot of work, they are among the worst I've ever heard easily.

    Geez.

I wouldn't review it that harshly. It's like 9-inch nails. If you like them, this is your speed.

I'll be honest. The music scared me. Glad I had headphones plugged in at work. [IMG]

I appreciate your honesty. I can totally see where you are coming from vocally. We personally like the gritty screamy type of vocals, but we also understand how many people can be turned off by them. Its definetely usually either an aquired taste or you kind of get used to them and learn to like them. At one point I was a lot like you, where I said, well teh music is good but I will never listen to vocals like that. A couple years later, some of my favorite bands have rougher vocals. I would definetely say our music isn;t for the mainstream radio listener, at teh same time I persoanlly feel we ahve some good melodies within our heavy texture.

Thanks beef, I especially appreciate it coming from someone who knows how it is to write stuff and put it out there.

Thanks to Denny for his comment , I have to agree its definetely not something that everyone will love on their first listen, alot like NIN, personally i still can;t get into most of that electronic rock, but all in good time right.
