Because no one wants to deal with them the way they deserve to be dealt with? As much as I'm not a fan of wars/invading other countries etc, if you're going to do it, do it right. Carpet bomb the fuck out of them, and ask questions later.
Anyone else think a lot of that is faked? I would think in general, a gun shot wound at very close proximity would make a small splatter of blood at least. The shots of them head first in the ground, and then also being thrown into the water, it seemed like they were being shot point blank, with nothing really happening.
I did wonder that (re: the water/river scene), but at the same time I think a lot of what we think would happen might be influenced by hollywoods special effects. But I did find it weird how they blurred the guys ass crack in one scene, but showed people being murdered before and after that scene.
It wouldn't surprise me if some of it was embellished a bit, but I have no doubt they murdered those guys in the ditch.
It does seem a bit fake, but I think this maybe more "wtf no one would be this fucking crazy". I don't think they would care to fake it. They had no problem chopping off the heads of reporters. There is another video that had a bunch of be headed bodies on the side of the street.
But weren't the videos of the beheadings even spliced a bit together? Or had missing segments? I think in caring to fake it, it's because they are first and foremost looking to cause terror. They gain just as much from the perception of murder as they do the murder. If they just want to wipe everyone out, then they don't need to film it. My guess is they terrorize those kids, and then a week later, those guys are driving jeeps and wearing black.
I read that the videos were fake, but they did behead the two reporters. Just not on camera. I don't know if it's true or not.
kind of like hazing? wouldn't surprise me. As for whether or not the beheadings are real videos or not, I hope they are faked (or they were killed off camera and then "be-headed" on camera). I've actually made the mistake of watching an actual beheading, and let's just say it's not nearly as cut and dry (pun intended) as these videos make it out to be. There is a lot of blood, a LOT. These videos don't show nearly enough (or in some cases any) blood. The impact is the same, faked or not. It scares people, and gets their message across. One way or the other, people are being killed (in violent ways). And when they're dead, they can use them as a propaganda piece easily.
"Devine help" They're doing Nazi level war crimes. Your intelligence has to be on point, know their location. Unleash the AH-64 Apache. Unleash the AC130j Ghostrider. No troops on the ground. This is exactly what they want.
That's the thing...they WANT us to engage them on the ground. Using the helicopters would be much easier and less casualties on our part. Thing is, they have to be sure what they're going after is actually who they want to go after.
I don't think any of it is faked. And I think we need boots on the ground. We need to take them out. No more of this half-assed shit that we've done every time since the Korean War.
Maybe Isis is just acting and they don think anyone is really getting hurt. Maybe there's some western mastermind behind all of it.
