I was looking at some football videos on the web and I came across a David Pizzaro interview and in the interview he said in an interview a couple of days after the Roma Vs Lyon match that he had dived (when he received a yellow card for it) in the box and "he had realized it" so he stood up and fought for the ball.

I still dont know how a player can realize he has dived. Are dives always intentional ?

P.S NO Milan Fans defending Gilardinho diving acts against Celtic he is just a disgrace to football and Ancelotti should give him a good [IMG] in future for his shameful dive that has lowered my opinion of Milan's talents by the way.

If its a dive then of course its intentional, a dive means you are cheating, if its not a dive then its a free kick or whatever.

but im talking about the player could lose his footing and fall over but still get booked for it or a freekick when all he has done was fall over

If players lose their footing by accident then they should say. Robin Van Persie did it a couple weeks ago. the ref wasn't going to give a penalty but he got up and indicated that he just tripped.

Why can't all football be played with that honesty
