Am I the only one who really doesn't feel the same way as everyone else about diving. I mean yeah I know it's bad and such but its part of human nature, to con. What I mean is that if a player dives gets another player a yellow/red card then there's ethical issues associated but when a player dives and gets a foul, then why is everyone ready to lynch the perpetrators. Someone comes and makes contact with you, and you fall theatrically to EMPHASIS that a foul has been committed and you get a foul to your team which may assist your teammates and coach. I hate the way the guys on MOTD think diving is so deplorable and something that the foreigners brought here, as one guy said (can't remember who) but a few divers here and now are better than what we had in the 70s where we had scotsmen and welshman kicking lumps outta each other. Moreover sometimes choose to fall instead of staying on their feet because doing so allows their joints more flexibility, for example your knee could twist and medial ligaments could be damaged if your foot is planted in the ground in the aftermath of a tackle.
