For the past couple years, really, since his draft workouts, I've seen Augustin as a potential candidate for our eventual "pg of the future". Maybe it's just because of the rumors that he's who KP really wanted, maybe its the fact that he seemed like the most "complete PG" in that draft, maybe I thought he'd mesh well w/ LA due to their longhorn roots, or maybe it's just because I thought he was a really good PG in college (I did), but I, for the last nearly 2 years, was pretty sold on Augustin's talent and potential, regardless of what his detractors had said or the rumors that Larry Brown wanted him gone for anything.

I can confidently say that all of that is gone.

I'm sure others are watching, but he's almost single-handedly ending the season for these Bobcats. This kid is TERRIBLE!

I'm not a good enough NBA talent evaluator to say whether Jerryd can be our franchise PG after Miller retires (I've liked what I've seen from him lately quite a bit actually, but it's still coming and going in spurts), but I CAN say, very definitively, that DJ cannot be. I wouldn't be shocked if he was out of the NBA in the last 2 years.

Sorry this isn't more "on-topic", but I figured with how pivotal this game is, that I'd try to bring a little levity to the board...

Time to cross DJ off our list for good (unless we have an opening for a ballboy)...

I'm not sure what happened to that guy after such a promising first year, but he's basically fallen off of a cliff. I know Larry Brown can be tough on young point guards, but yikes.

I watched him run the ball up the court, go around a pick, and shoot a contested shot. A good "wtf" moment.

I was pretty high on him out of college, but his game has really gone downhill.

Too small. Like Damon only not as talented. Not a good thing.
