Rapper DMX has been arrested in New York City for alleged failure to pay some $400,000 in child support, while charges over a gas station robbery were dropped. The 44-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, has not commented. A New York City Sheriff's Office spokesperson told local TV station WPIX-11 that DMX was taken into custody for "several issues outstanding," including a warrant issued over his alleged failure to pay some $400,000 in back child support.
