As good a season and start as we already have had I don't think a lot of folks around the country realize how good this team already is and how good we can become. I just have this gut feeling that we beat Boston on Friday and in the months or years ahead it will be looked back upon as one of several key "growth milestones" of this eventual championship team. I can't wait for this game.

Careful. I said virtually the same thing prior to the Suns game. ;)

Frankly no one ever really remembers the regular season.

Not to say that a win wouldn't be a huge confidence boost for this team and wouldn't be important, but the ONLY thing that matters to me is enjoying seeing this team grow before our eyes, and to see them get into and compete in the playoffs -- win or lose tomorrow night it's a helluva long season, so no reason to get too up or too down.

Frankly, I'm living in a parallel world watching the Falcons go through virtually the same type thing. Pretty exciting stuff! :ghoti:

The thing to remember about the Celtics, is they are on top. Every team that plays them, its a big game to who they are playing against, in fact, one of the biggest games of the year. This is just another game to them. For the Blazers, it means a lot more. I take from Roy's comments after the Washington game about it being a measuring stick, that Portland is going to give it one hell of an effort to see if they can beat this team. That is all I care about, they try hard, compete, and if they win, that makes it better.
