Man United may be seen as the Biggest club in England and the World, but Englands more decorated Club is Liverpool. Liverpool have 18 League Titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, 7 League Cups, 3 UEFA Cups, 3 European Super Cups and a handful of Charity Shields. Liverpool FC dominates the English game throughout the 1970's and 1980's and dominated the European stage from 1972/73 - 1984/85. There Managers were never Knighted. After the Champions League win 2005 no gongs were given to the likes of Gerrard and Carragher and there was a big fuss over it. Do Liverpool like being in the Limelight ? I heard that Bob Paisley stayed away from the Limelight. Maybe thats why he was never knighted.
Why ,does money make them the biggest team in the world? I don't think so. If United was the biggest team in the world then why would Ronaldo have his head turned by Real Madrid? They are only the biggest team in the world in their own eyes . United may be a big 'brand' but their manager and some of their players lack class and humility much like Mourinho. Even their shirt doesn't mention the word football.

Most teams have the words Football Club or FC on them. The thing is so did Uniteds but they took the words out a couple of years ago so that it was then a "brand" rather than a club.
Sorry to say this bringiton, but on the United shirt it DOES say "MUFC" which stands for Manchester United FOOTBALL CLUB

I'm on about the badge and the thing people see not a little shitty thing at the bottom to say if somethings authentic!!!!!!
its the not the shitty little thing actually, its part of the kit. So you were wrong Plus, you ask anyone worldwide who Manchester United are and they will tell you. Our reputation speaks for itself.
If you put that shirt in front of someone who doesn't know who they are they wouldn't have a clue as to what its for,it could be baseball, rugby or cricket for all they knew
Oh come on, everyone will notice a united badge. you Liverpool fans dont give up, your giving a pointless argument.

You call football soccer.. that says it all nah only joking. Manchester United are one of the most popular teams in the world, anyone with a brain can notice their badge and know they are a football team. Liverpool people need to stop crying and making pointless arguments like this thread.
You don't grasp it do you? Why would they want to take the words football club off their badge? Its because they are now a "brand" rather than a football club with faceless beaurocrats running it and alienating the local support in trying to become a worldwide brand rather than sticking to their roots.
So thats Chelsea out of it then ! Ok they've got the money but they're goosed on the other 2. Can you believe they've got 8000 tickets unsold for their FA Cup semi? I hope they're not thinking of saving it for Athens because the money may as well stay in the bank!
