Awfully frustrated... Rockets asleep at the wheel while all the good FA's are being picked up........
Yea I noticed that. There are a lot of Ok PGs out there. I thought they would of picked up mike james though.there are a lot of others too.
To say the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets don't pick up anyone. If anyone remembers, we have made similar moves, namely when we desperately needed an upgrade at point guard, but stuck with Matt Maloney. I view that blunder as the key reason why we couldn't win another championship after Jordan's return. And judging by the looks of this summer, Carroll Dawson hasn't learned.
Damon Jones signed with the Heat. The best we got left is Antonio Daniels, and that even requires a trade...

Damon Jones, who was the starting point guard in Milwaukee last year after rookie T.J. Ford got hurt, signed with Miami on Thursday as an unrestricted free agent. Jones took the remainder of the Heat's $4.9 million mid-level exception and signed a two-year deal for about $5 million with the second year as his option. </div> Link Seems like he signed for $2.5 million per year. Could we not afford that? It's pretty low by NBA standards.
I cant believe Jones signed with Miami...I thought for sure he was headed to Seattle and then we would be able to acquire Daniels for our trade exception... The Rockets really need to pull the trigger on this rumored Mutombo for Piatkowski trade...how long is it before Mutombo can be traded does anyone know?
