I believe we'll do something. hopefully we'll get Mike Miller, and hopefully we won't get JO or ZBo, but I do believe that a move will be made, likely to get a SG or move RJ or possibly even Vince.

    Mark Jackson says

"Ian, he's got a rubber band in his hair! Does he get up in the morning and say, 'You know what'll look good? I think I'll put this here rubber band in my hair.'?"

Either we pick up Mike Miller, or we do some sort of a trade to get rid of the big man log jam.

I could also see Carter and/or RJ getting traded before the deadline, too.

I'm not completely hopeful on getting Miller. I think we can put together a pretty attractive package, but there's a good number of teams bidding for him

I would love to see Mike Miller come to the Nets...
I would be ok with trading Vince but I'd rather wait til the offseason...his value will probably go up.
Also think we should deal either Nenad or Diop...or both if we're bringing in a star big man...

I'd just like to make some deals while we are on fire. See what we can get going.

Can anyone else envision Kiki walking into the gym for the first time, seeing Collins, Wright and Allen and asking Thorn what the hell he was thinking?

That sure got straightened out quick!

YES were goin to get Mike Miller for Boki, Mags, DA & 1st rd pick from Dallas

Vince for JO might also occurr but i think the Miller trade is more plausable

yes there might be other team bidding for miller but we have the best package availble IMO

    Haha.

Hey, maybe Kiki+Thorn = a competent GM. Kiki understands the value of the salary cap and wise investments, Thorn has a talent for making other GMs blink.

    Maybe? Possibly?

Maybe. Possibly. If Thorn doesn't get us anymore Wrights, Planinics and Carter-sized contracts I may re-like him.

I think the Nets should stick with their one big trade for now. Finish the season and start from there. I'd say keep Jefferson and find a way to trade Carter. I would'nt mind dangling either Harris or Williams (Marcus) for a shooting guard. I don't see one of them coming off the bench. And I don't think playing them at the same time is a good idea. Get a 2 guard and a solid backup point. It's either Harris or Williams at the point.

I'd still like to get Mike Miller if possible. Alot of trades are possible, but Thron has pulled off some stuff in the past. Miller would fit great with Harris. Imagine Harris driving to the lane and then kicking it out to the side pocket with Miller there waiting for the 3. Swish!

Don't blame Thorn for Wright. Indications at the time were that he would have taken McCants, but he went one pick earlier. When the pick came up, other fans were partial to Gerald Green, Joey Graham, Hakim Warrick, Wayne Simien, and John Petro. None of them have been any better. Fans harp on the success of Danny Granger, but he was only one of a half-dozen viable candidates at that point in the draft, and he was an injury risk. The other first-roudners drafted after Wright included Julius Hodge, Jarrett Jack, Nate Robinson, Francisco Garcia, Julius Hodge. It's not like 2001, when the Nets selected Brandon Armstrong over a half-dozen significant contributors.
