Today, Buss stated that Kobe had nothing to do with the departure of Phil Jackson and Shaq...it was a decision made independently by Buss himself, and ony himself...

    Do you believe him?

i Believe he had nothing to do with the departure of Shaq. He stated that he would leave if Jackson wasnt back and he is not back..

As for Jackson leaving...I think he left because of Kobe. He and Kobe couldnt co-exist much longer.

I don't believe it. After knowing the odds at stake to keep Kobe Bryant in a Laker uniform, Kobe didn't have a say on what Buss had to do in order to keep him for the next seven years? I find that to be very mysterious. Why can't owners nowadays just come out of the limelight and tell us what is going on?? It wouldnt hurt your pride or your position as an owner if you just tell us the truth about what actually happened.

I don't think Kobe asked for Jackson to leave, but I think Jackson left, in large part, due to the fact that he couldn't coach Kobe. I don't see how Kobe is at fault, though. I really doubt he asked Jackson to leave. Some people just can't co-exist. I think Kobe is a fairly likable guy to certain people. Sure, his ego is big, but so was Jordan's. It's tough for guys who are that good so young to get along with older people because the issue of who's the leader is always there.
