I never did but shit, its so much cheaper, especially with sportscoats Instead of paying like $800, I pay like $75 for a good quality sportscoat or something. Won't buy used pants though...dunno..or shoes. But dress shirts and jackets....its pretty good going on ebay and finding crap. esp. in this bad economy.
Once upon a time I would go to goodwill and buy dead men's shoes. Haven't for a few decades now though. barfo
Yeah. I usually buy designers I already know the fit of though...have some personal favorite brands and stuff. don't buy stuff because its cheap...i won't buy ugly shit either if it were new or used.
I scour goodwill for Brooks Brothers and other higher-end, athletic-cut suits and pants. $10 per suit and 10 for dry cleaning is a steal for me.
Aside from underwear and socks, I haven't bought a brand new item of clothing in 10 years, since I was 16 years old. Why spend money on something frivolous? I look good, I recycle, and I don't waste my money on bullshit.
Yeah, with suits and jackets, that's where the real big savings are. they can always be tailored anyways.
