It would be cool but would people really go if it was a low level bowl game?

I think if we could make it on a par with the Holiday Bowl it's be pretty good.

So they'd play at Jeld-Wen Field? Only seats 20,500. It'd have to be Auzten or Reeser I think.

I'm down for any big sporting events coming to town.

I thought about that. Also, the weather is crappy. But Reeser is a loser town and stadium. So it'd have to be Autzen (great stadium but would Eugene embrace a bowl game?) or Jeld-Wen (small stadium, which may be best looking at empty stadiums for most bowl games; also, Portland has more to do and might provide a better place to fly in and out of and some sort of fan base).

No place big enough in Portland to host a bowl game.

Considering that most bowl games are poorly attended (until the major games are played), Jeld-Wen stadium will do fine. But the weather is a problem. We could call it the Rain Bowl.

I would've said No, but I'm watching a bowl being played in Annapolis right now. Navy-Marine Corps Memorial holds about 36k.

If it was an SEC vs Pac team it'd be a very fun matchup.

But the SEC wouldn't want to travel that far. I wish those conferences would play each other for one bowl game. The Pac12 has very shitty bowl affiliations. A 12 team conference plays their second best team against the third best team of a 10 team conference? Sometimes I think it'd be better if the Pac withdrew from the whole system and just kept the Rose Bowl.

    No one would.

I'd like to see two teams west of the rockies. For example, the CSU/WSU game would have been a good fit.

The beach, the mountains, the zoo, OMSI, downtown area... there are things to do. I mean they have a bowl in Boise for crying out loud.

Yeah, that's great and all...but those are all better in the summer (well except for skiing) and most people going for a bowl game want to drink in the sun, not go chill in the rain.

Nobody.goes to the lower bowls anyway. Since there is a lack of any football in Portland, the locals would fill Jeld Wen
