Reason I ask, is, as of late I've found myself developing a bit of one. Now I've never really considered myself a very good looking guy, but lately I've been recieving alot of compliments about my appearance not only from women, but even a couple of guys [IMG], which is flattering to say the least. I think its good in my case, since I've always had pretty low self esteem, and its a definate boost hearing things like that. But what about you guys? Any of you have a super ego? I'm under the impression phundamentalz does, lol [IMG]

I think I'm pretty average looking, but I know I'm awesome in general.

I don't have an ego, I just have swagger. Is there a difference? In a way I guess I have an ego but I'm real humble.

It's weird, when you start getting compliments from guys your ego grows, but you feel disgusted (if you're against homosexuality). The same thing happens to me all the time. I even used it to my advantage once, got free food from Subway for like a week straight. I got the guy fired, haha.

I do have an ego, but I like to call it a swagger, as well.

I don't exactly have an ego but during sports I talk tons of trash, so don't know if that would count.....

Every person has an ego, only some worse then others. I have an ego, but I back up my statements and don't bother getting involved in things I don't know about. That is what seperates me from others. I hate when big ego maniacs believe that they know everything or believe they're better then anyone else at everything.

The thing I rely more on is my charisma, which I have a lot of and you can sense it before even speaking to me in real life. That's what I've been told by basically every person I've met. I know I'm a pretty good looking guy because I've attracted a lot of women, but again, that also attributes to the charisma because that is quite an attractive thing to some people.

I have an ego at times, but it's mostly because of looks than anything else. Although I'm still humble about how I look, if a girl, or in some cases, a guy, says you look good, than it eventually does boost your ego.
However, I'm not really at the level I want to be at looks wise cause I'm still not as fit as I'd like to be, and I'm still battling acne to a minimal degree. Which leads me to conclude that if I were to control and better myself on those two factors, my ego would actually be a little bit higher.

Either way, I think it's good for everyone to have an ego. I'm not pompous, but I'm confident about who I am. There's a lot of things I can work on, obviously, in terms of my persona and how I present myself, but I see no reason to be shy.

I think that as long as your ego doesn't get in the way of your priorities, or your respect and care for others, then having one isn't too big of an issue.

I have a HUGE ego when it comes to basketball though, cause I talk quite a lot of trash while I'm playing [IMG]

I have an ego, but I try to use it in a positive way: as a confidence booster or as a way of motivating myself. Around other people, my best trait as that I'm laid back and don't take myself too serious. I wouldn't be able to stand myself if I was one of those delusional, big-headed douches.

Of course, sports is another thing entirely. I don't trash talk as much in basketball, because I'm more of a hustler, rebounder, and defender. But when I play soccer, I get in everyone's face.

....and than there's guys who have an ego that is too big for thier own good. One of my friends, he's a great guy and all, but he's not exactly the biggest attraction to girls (more of a style thing than looks but yeah). Nevertheless, he comes to the conclusion that every girl who comes up to talk to him more than once a day probably likes him and has come to his own conclusion that he can get two of my friends "if he wanted", both of whom aren't attracted to him AT ALL.

As far as basketball ego goes, mine REALLY comes out when I face my brother. He's 7 years older than me and much bigger and stronger, so if I make a sweet shot/layup over him or I block him, even a little bit, he never hears the end of it.

However, compared to A.F. Venom my ego is miniscule.[IMG]
