Andre Ethier's monster season is being held up by a pinkie finger.

The Dodgers announced on Tuesday that the right fielder will go on the disabled list with the broken digit. The team made the move before their game against Houston, which happened to be Andre Either Bobblehead Night.

The left-handed hitter is first in the league with a .392 batting average, tied for first with 11 homers and tops in MLB with 38 RBIs.

This is the first time Ethier has been on the DL. The move was retroactive to May 15, when Ethier hurt himself taking a batting practice swing in the indoor cage at San Diego. He was fitted with a splint and was going to try to play through the injury, but that obviously proved impossible.
