I have no real use for one but it might be an interesting toy to play with. I mean, I had no pressing need for the 1963.5 Falcon Sprint I inherited from my dad , but I sure as hell enjoyed it for 4 years. 4-speed, on the floor, leather bucket seats, and a relatively tiny but a 260 CID V8 dynamo. It was a little tight to fit in because I'm a 6'3 lard ass, but sure was fun out on the road; economical too. My wife made me sell it, damn her, when we got out first RV and needed the garage room (sold it for 33K....I didn't realize how rare they were) as for 3D printers, I just don't know anything about them or how expensive they are to 'play' with. Or if they can make any useful things. Or how much the printing mediums cost. Or how complicated the apps are to operate one
Go look at Sketchup and start playing with it (it is free for personal use, I believe that if you want to print, you need to buy at least the $120 version). If you like that - you will understand if this works for you. I use it every once in a while to design woodworking projects (a hobby) - it is a pain to use, but it can help you manage bigger projects and look at them in 3D before you start cutting etc... - I never used it to 3D print.
I have access to a print farm we built at work, the only complicated part of playing with it IMO is having a decent understanding of the materials you're using. We have PLA, Onyx, Carbon Fibers, etc. It can get really complicated quickly though if you want to go beyond just "playing around". We use SolidWorks (mostly), for designs. A few of these - but their more expensive https://markforged.com/ a few of these for prototyping with PLA (mostly) - https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-prin...MI6JuA7LDe6AIVDisMCh3efgWEEAAYASAAEgJgJPD_BwE You can make so many interesting things with a 3d printer. https://www.thingiverse.com/ https://www.sketchup.com/industries/3d-printing If you're looking to make your own designs and don't want to put a ton of resources into it I'd try one of these programs: https://www.blender.org/download/releases/2-82/ I don't know much about this one: https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/ - I could ask the mechanical engineer a couple rooms away since he says he uses it -
it might be a lot easier just to be a sex doll....how do you look in a mini-skirt? and don't try and tell us you never wear one
