Lets look at the future and what can possibly happen in the next two season being that Rod Thorn said that we will be probably be out of contention for a championship for about 1 to 2 seasons. Does anybody know who will be free agents in the next one to two years? Being that we have have alot of draft picks and that our payroll will drop next season. Who will be worth getting?
I am going to try to post with no analysis... Freeagents in 2005/06: Kittles Aaron Williams (if and only if he does not pick up his own player option) Harris Richard Jefferson (Restricted) Collins (Restricted) Scalabrine Mutombo's buyout contract expires as well. Freeagents in 2006/07: Planinic (if and only if Nets do not pick up his contract option. Kidd's contract as we know lasts until 2008/09.
Wait a sec! You prolly wanted to know who would be FAs from other teams as well! Heres my list of who I think would be worth it: Illgauskas Antione Walker Gary Payton Mike Dunlevy Gasol (Restricted) Spreewell Glenn Robinson Dalembert (Restricted) Damon Stoudermire Sherif Abdul-Rahim (I give up on the spelling) Theo Ratliff Zach Randolph (Restricted) Tony Parker (Restricted) Ray Allen Andrey Kirilenko (Restricted) Kwame Brown (Restricted) Larry Hughes My person favorite is Kirilenko...I'd like to see the Nets frontload an offer for him ...I joking as that will never happen, or Utah will 100% certainly match.
yeah i think this what rod thorn must be talking about. he must see a bunch of free agents, college prospects, and overseas player that would be great for this. I guess i can live with us not keeping martin cause out future could look bright. Rod Thorn show me what you can do. ray allen and kirlenko that would be great
Just check Real GM.com (http://www.realgm.com/src_freeagents.php?year=2004 for next season if I am Correct)
