Desmond Mason, who should be the Hornets' leading scorer is sitting on the bench, seeing little playing time and not contributing at all. With an amazing 93-67 win over the Sacremento Kings, you would think Desmond Mason would have had a major part in the game with maybe 30 points, but he only played 16 minutes, and contributed only 1 point. In Cleveland, he only played 21 minutes and scored only 6 points. Shouldn't he be starting in front of Bostjan Nachbar and dominating the floor? Do you think he is unhappy with the Hornets and demanding another trade?
As I said in the Hornets/Cavs thread, There's no reason to get down on Desmond Mason already. The Hornets just want him to get fully comfortable with their system which is very different from the Bucks' system. Once Mason gets a feel, and impresses in practice, he will definitely get the role starting. I don't think the Hornets are paying 8 million a season for him to be their sixth man.
