Jimmer was on the US Select team that practiced with Team USA last summer. So as an assistant for Team USA, McMillan got to see Jimmer play first hand against some of the best NBA talent. Why would the Blazers spend the time and energy to interview Jimmer and have him in for a workout if McMillan wasn't confident he could play? Could it be that Nate wants Jimmer?!
What's with the Jimmer fixation on this board these days? He's not the 'stache, you know. Ben Gordon is probably available if we want a no-defense tiny shooting guard whom we know can hit big shots in the NBA.
I'd draft Jimmer just to see HCP freak out! With the 21st pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, The Portland TrailBlazers select Jimmer Fredette. http://s.sfwgifs.com/img/1189/freak-out.gif
Mark Price!!?? Those steroids are effecting your ability to type son! Price was a Stockton like pure old school PG! This cracker has nowhere near the handles or PG skills.
(By the way, he's going to be the next Jason Williams. Minus the flashy passes. Buzzcut Jason Williams, not floppy hair Jason Williams.)
Jimmer has better handles than you think. Price was more known for his deadeye shooting than his distributing skills. Price averaged 4 asts per game throughout his 4 years of college.
