Does Olshey thinks we are idiots?

Right before Shams announce that San Antonio and Toronto are in advanced talks for Kawhi he told his buddy Woj to write about our fake attempt with San Antonio, only to specify that Lillard and CJ weren't in the deal (because either way he would have make McLillard unhappy).

Every time there's a big trade/signing he tells Woj to mention our fake attempts, it happened with Paul George, it happened with Cousins and so on...

This franchise is really in a state of disgrace, the jokes about our Summer League championship are on point, it's the only title we can dream of...

You say that before the George, Cousins, and to-be Kawhi trades, Woj publicized his friend Olshey's token efforts more than token efforts of GMs who aren't his friends.

This may be. How about links to articles or tweets. But my point is:

Even if Olshey really TRIES to make trades...he fails every time. More important is what the RESULTS are: He never succeeds in making a trade.

This is a known fact. I don't need to find the articles and Woj tweets to prove that Woj is oversympathetic about Olshey's ATTEMPTS...when Olshey's RESULTS are objectively verifiable.

 

So does San Antonio take back Derozen or ship him elsewhere? I can't see why they'd want Derozen.

 

That trade makes no sense to me.

 

I gotta be honest.... I have gotten the feeling as well that Neil is the dude that carries the clipboard around to make himself look like he’s always busy. Woj is that clipboard.

 

Either way, Olshey never makes trades. He does only half his job.

 

Riverman usually shows up, mentions the easy Nurkic trade forced by economics, and leaves happy. I don't argue, poor guy.

 

I'll say the same thing I said in the other Kawhi thread:

The same fucking people that are accusing Olshey of leaking this shit just to make it look like he tried are mostly the same people who would be crucifying him if the Blazers weren't mentioned as being interested? What the fuck is he supposed to do?

I can't stand @jlprk's posts but at least he is basing his opinion on results and not some stupid narrative that Olshey has no interest in Kawhi and only pretends to.

 

You said 2 important things.

1) What is Olshey supposed to do? How about...be a talented trader.

2) You can't stand my posts. This proves that everything you've ever said is wrong, which saves me time debating you. Obviously, you must be severely lacking in basketball knowledge if you have ever doubted any of my pearls of wisdom.

You misunderstand Jlprk. He's a muppet. He's a character. He's a cartoon. He's not meant to be taken seriously.

 

I guess my green font radar doesn’t work so well with people who never break character.

 

It's not your fault. He's a very old meme. He has been running this gag for years and years. He and Maris sometimes tag team, but the gag is the same. Kingspeed is also a meme, and he even admitted once that he does stuff just to rile people up, but he's so much better at it. Sometimes it's very hard to tell that Kingspeed isn't serious. With Jlprk, I can actually see his smug smile through the internet.

 

Wow. I never knew my whole character had so much competition. I thought there was onl one other character here. Obviously I sucked. I guess I’m just gonna have to learn from the old timers.
