"I discussed it over with my family, and it's the best thing for me," James told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. James played in Orlando at the pre-draft camps and only had two workouts, with Houston and New York/New Jersey (shared workout). He was projected to go either late in the second round or undrafted.</div> Good decision, I have heard nothing positive regarding his stock over the last month. He apparently bombed at the pre-draft camp in Orlando. He does have some potential though, hopefully he harnesses it back at Marquette for another year or 2.
This is a great idea on his part, as he might not even get drafted, so might as well go back and work on his game. I'm hoping that Taurean Green follows his lead and comes back to Florida for his senior year. If we learned anything from Darius Washington it's to go back to college if your a suspected mid-late second round pick.
This sounds repititive of me but I agree that it was probably the best move for him. He hasnt stood out at any of the predraft camps and hes still very young so I'm sure he'll probably mature more by spending another year at Marquette. I might sound like I'm just saying sh*t you already know but meh..
Great choice, he had some terrible workouts and his stock fell more everyday.. If he has a consistantly good season next year, he should be a 1st round pick.
I'm sure Marquette fans are pretty happy, with him coming back they have a good shot at being a top 25 team and turning some heads.
