COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: James Posey COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Tim James ROLE PROJECTION: Versatile small forward off the bench; contributing rebounder. POSITIVES: McGuire can do a lot of things on the court and he doesn't necessarily need the ball all the time to get a lot accomplished. Among the many things he does well are rebound and block shots, something you don't always expect from the small forward spot. McGuire can pass the ball well and is unselfish. He has successfully defended bigger players in college and may do this at the NBA level for a few possessions. He is a tough man to keep off the offensive boards. He's an excellent lane runner and dunker on the break.
