Shine Fights was canceled over the weekend for reasons other than Don King's last minute court injuction vs. Ricardo Mayorga competing.

In order for the court ruling to take effect King had to post $1-million bond. Like, right away. King delivered two duffelbags full of cash money to the courthouse in order for his injunction to proceed--on a few hours notice.

A rep or some people from Shine Fights defiantly said they would go ahead with the fights despite the ruling. Then the plug was pulled on the show leading some to believe the athletic commission had shut them down.

The AC had done just that--not because of the ruling but because Shine Fights didn't have a bond to guarantee fighters would be paid and they lacked a ringside physician.

So essentially even without Don King's interference the show was doomed.
