Dallas signed Don Nelson to a new 3 year contract to continue as coach and GM. The coaching part of his old contract was set to expire today - he had 3 more years as GM under that old contract.

it didn't surprise me...when Don Nelson decided to stay...what teams were really close to what combination he has built now? (well...still need better d-fense...but still)
well... it was not Nelson who decided he wanted to stay... Mark Cuban decided he wanted Nelson to stay...
good decision..but mavs really need to add some defensive players..or hire a defensive coach to hwlp in practise or something
good point.. because Nelson never really focused on defense... but hey.. the game is about scoring more points than your opponent!
But Nellie just likes the run & gun game... he definately should stick with that.. because they are the best run & gun team in the league... they just need to add a little toughness on defense to be a championship caliber team... imho
