    Interim WBA super flyweight champ Nonito Donaire (24-1 16KOs) retained his title with an eighth round TKO over Hernan Marquez (27-2 20KOs). Donaire dropped Marquez in the fifth and finished things off in the eighth with a plush uppercut that sent Marquez down to the canvas. The bout would be waived off shortly after at the 2:59 mark.
