<span class="sommario">Celtic chairman Brian Quinn has called on UEFA to launch an inquiry into the actions of AC Milan goalkeeper Dida in the aftermath of the 2-1 victory over the European Champions on Wednesday.</span></p>

<font size="2" face="Arial">While the Celtic players were still celebrating Scott McDonald's 90th minute winner, a home fan ran onto the pitch and tapped the Brazilian keeper near his face while running across his path. Dida initially gave chase, but then after a couple of strides collapsed in a heap. He was subsequently stretchered off with an icepack pressed against his temple, even though the replays clearly showed that the pitch invader &ndash; who has already received a lifetime ban from Parkhead - &lsquo;only&rsquo; gave him a light tap.</font></p>

<font size="2"><font face="Arial">"I'm making no excuses for the behaviour, and the fan behaved disgracefully, but the contact made with the goalkeeper was minimal, absolutely minimal,&rdquo; said Quinn. &ldquo;The antics of the goalkeeper have to be taken into account as well.<o></o></font></font></p>

<font size="2"><font face="Arial">"All I saw were the TV pictures. He took a couple of steps after the fan and then obviously made this decision that he should go to ground. Unless I missed something he was carried off on a stretcher for what seemed to be the lightest tap you can imagine."<o></o></font></font></p>

<font size="2" face="Arial">Quinn concluded by assuring that the club would investigate just how it was that the fan had been able to run onto the pitch and would take the "appropriate action" based on the findings.</font></p>

Dida is officially in the Ronaldo,Robben,Drogba, cheating group.! I hope he gets fined pretty hard. I feel its unfair to ban the fan for life, thats gotta suck!</p>

 

I know man. Maybe 5 years but for life? lol....sucks for him....and a lesson for others.</p>

But Dida needs to be suspended by UEFA at least 5 games for what he did.</p>
