I began working on the B2 Program that year. I proudly wore my Yankee Hat and Starter Coat too, and never got razzed more that year than any other year. But, 6 years later, I would have my revenge....my co-workers could not believe I would wear the coat/hat to work in that horrific era. I was the constant butt of jokes...never ending jokes.... Yet, I'd say, "you must support your team in good or bad years". A few years later, promoted from a Inspector to a QA/QE Mgr. No one bothered me again, (not only as one thinks twice about razzing any Mgr. altho' I was always open to jokes, or open mindedness regardless). The Yanx began their terror of reign to finish up the decade." and I still wore my same Starter Coat, exacting revenge just by wearing it... My only point, I can never ever forget those hard years, and the constant negative comments, while I held the line on my Team. "time itself, IS change".
Difference was no one had expectations for the 89 through 93 Yankees. This 2014 team has expectations after last years cast of loonies but at least they hung in there to the end.
