Don't see why some fans would want Brandon to sit out tonight

I got the memo that BRoy has no Meniscus and we should watch out for extended playing time; but I truly think we need him every game. Not just for our team to truly evaluate at what level Roy can contribute; but for Roy's confidence too.

Playing against an easy opponent can equate to Roy finding his game without worrying about costing the team a win. Also, Roy can experiment on ways he can still be very effective, without having that explosion at every possession.

I am rooting for Roy and I want him to get through this; but I truly think it's fair for Brass to truly evaluate the future of Roy. So even a "meaningless game" <--- Nothing from this point, IMO is meaningless; we need Roy to play each and every game.

He needs to play. Just keep his minutes down.

Exactly tlong. If you are worried, then limit the minutes, but don't take him out completely.

Some fans? Ehn, there's some fans who think a lot of funny stuff. I don't heed them any mind.

Brandon played 28 minutes last game; hopefully Cleveland provides only enough of a challenge to keep him on the court for 21 minutes tonight. Play him every night, but try to average only 24 minutes a night over the course of a week. That means more time for hard games, less time for (hopefully) easy games.

...but the fans who are not Some Fans are right: he needs to be out there, providing scoring off the bench, support for LMA in the 4th, and ball handling just in case Patty or Andre has a bad night.

Hell, I say test him. I want to see how effective he is after the performance he had the other night.

I'd want to limit Brandon's minutes to 15 tonight. If it's down to the wire in the last 5 minutes and he's been hot, maybe play him for 20

I'd let Brandon make the call... if he wants to play, let him play. Limiting Oden's minutes over the years has gotten us exactly nowhere.

I thought they already lifted his back-to-back restriction and increased his minute allotment? This isn't a back to back anyway. Unless he's hurt, Brandon is not sitting out. I do think they should limit him in the first half then save him for the fourth quarter, so they could give him some extended run late if he's clicking. Say what you will about Brandon, and I've probably said most of it, but the guy is Mr. Clutch.

Where did this strawman of "fans want Brandon to sit out" come from? I don't even know what we're arguing about.

Brandon has had issues in the past where he's gone out and gutted out 35+ minute games when his body is telling him not to, but I think this last episode has cured him of that. He says that his knees feel fine. The coaches should take him at his word and keep raising his minutes until he's at full capacity and not experiencing pain.

LOL, it was in O-live. I was tripping on the reason. Basically it's because this is a poor team and we don't want to strain Roy. It wasn't in here and I wasn't arguing. Just making a statement.
