He's 22 years old and is a solid all-around player with good D on a cheap deal. His value's taken a hit right now because because people are underwhelmed he didn't take the next step and become an stud, well we said the same thing about LA back when he was 22. Calling him soft and average, look at him now. He's an all-star. Not saying Nic's going to be an all-star but by the time he's 25 I expect him to be at least a better version of himself, which is a terrific player. Nic's had some nice games this season and can stroke it from three consistently, but his problem is he's young and lacking aggression, just like LA was. If we can sign him to a reasonable deal I think it would be a smarter than looking to trade him, unless of course it's a deal we can't refuse.

I tend to agree. If changes are to be made - trade the old and bring in the new. Moving Batum just wouldn't make any sense now or under a scenario of a rebuild.

If it were me, I'd move Pryz, possibly Rudy (while he's playing decently over the past few games, he'll still want out this summer - so perhaps his trade stock has risen?)

Bring in Izzy and try to make a small run at the Lakers - or trade for a young PG or Big.

Hope he stays healthy, he has a bright future. By the way, I think he might go play in France next season when there is a lockout. I think Tony Parker is part owner of a team back there.

Were we planning on trading him?
