Nice find, and welcome to JBB.

Hopefully this brings more credibility to Yao being mentioned as one of the toughest to defend. What's more impressive is Yao is only in his 3rd year, while the other players Donyell mentioned have been in the league for over 10 seasons.

well considering Donyell is like 6'8/6'9 and Yao is over 7'5 obviously he will have problems guarding him. Yao doesn't need to do much when Marshall is guarding him.

^ Exactly. He shouldn't even be guarding Yao or Shaq, but he had to cover for Bosh the past 2 seasons.

Well, I could imagine with Yao's height defending him must be real tough. And as others have mentiond Marshall shouldnt even be covering him but anyways I think when he answered the questien he just said a great player thats hard to stop so he went with Yao.

Yao being taller isn't the issue here. Donyell could've answered anyone like KG, JO, Brad Miller, any center, any PF, or anyone that's taller than him (and there's plenty of them) but the mere fact that he mentioned Yao and Shaq in the same breath should at least count for something. Now I'm sure he doesn't mean that Yao is in the same level as Shaq because we all know that's not true (yet at least), but it's nice to see some people are beginning to notice how Yao's starting to become an elite player that is legitly hard to guard regardless of how "soft" or "aggressive" his style is.

Shame on you people who try to downplay Donyell's statement there. I've only got one word for you - hater.
