Carlton Dotson, 23, faces from five years to life in prison in the death of Patrick Dennehy, who was missing six weeks before his body was found in a field near campus in July 2003. Sentencing is set for June 15.

Dotson, whose trial was to start Monday, did not speak during the hearing other than one-word answers to questions from state District Judge Ralph Strother.</div>
