<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dallas Morning News - League approval that will make Doug Christie an ex-Maverick is expected today. Coach Avery Johnson said Thursday that all that remains between Christie's retirement because of his left ankle injury is for the NBA office, the Mavericks and Christie to complete paperwork. It will be a retirement because of injury, not a waiving. "We should have some resolution (today)," Johnson said, adding that there was no scenario in which Christie would remain a Maverick. Owner Mark Cuban was more cautious, saying that nothing is certain until the commissioner approves it. But Cuban said he was extremely pleased with the way Christie has handled the situation.</div> http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...stie_to_retire/ I guess Ms. Christie thought it was time for Doug to retire.
It`s ashame too, I was hoping Christie could start like a new beginning in Dallas. Maybe he can join the Mavericks organization or something.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bahir:</div><div class="quote_post">Why is everyone always talking about his wife?</div> If I am remembering corectly, his wife is alway /was always at every kings game and he always made a sign to her after like every shot and what not. He travelled on the team plane with the team, esentially, they were "inseperable" to make it simple. So that's the big joke.
See: Signature Although I'm dissapointed that this didn't work, I'm glad Marquis Daniels got a chance to strut his stuff and he really showed he deserved to be starting. And now, Josh Howard is injured so it looks as if Daniels and Marshall are our only wings :| Expect to see more Josh Powell, Rawle Marshall, Devin Harris and DeSagana Diop playing In related news, Adrian Griffin is looking like he will be signed by Dallas
