Doug McDermott was less than his usually stellar self in the first half against Drake, scoring only nine points as Creighton (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 25 AP) went back and forth with the seventh-seeded Bulldogs. In the second half, McDermott found his game to finish with 26 points and lift the Bluejays to a 68-61 victory Friday night in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
