VITALS: 6-6, 217, Arizona OVERVIEW: Iguodala is one of the most versatile players in the draft. The Illinois native spent two seasons at Arizona and his sophomore campaign was impressive. Iguodala showcased his skills by averaging 12.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists and turned in three triple-doubles. In high school, Iguodala starred in All-Star games and has no veritable weakness to his game. The only question about Iguodala is whether every aspect of his multi-skilled game will improve enough for him to succeed in the NBA. The Illinois native does not shine in any one area and every area of his game must shine for him to be effective. ADVERTISEMENT LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Iguodala's impressive outside shooting displays in workouts have greatly enhanced his stock. He's receiving more serious looks from teams such as Chicago (3) and Charlotte (4), whom were originally believed to have favored Luol Deng. Even if Deng still bumps him out of either one of those picks, Atlanta (6), Philadelphia (9) and Cleveland (10) are all in the market for swingmen. COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Alvin Robertson ROLE PROJECTION: Spot starter. Future All-Star. POSITIVES: Iguodala is a triple-double threat in the making. He is an outstanding passer with the ability to create looks for his teammates; a prolific rebounder despite standing just 6-6; and a world-class athlete who uses his speed, agility and leaping skills to score going to the basket. Furthermore, Iguodala is an awesome defender who can contain even the best offensive talents. It is not hard to understand why general managers are drooling over the former Wildcat. SHORTCOMINGS: Anytime a player shoots just 20.5 percent and 31.5 percent from 3-point range in two seasons of college play, eyebrows will be raised. If Iguodala cannot establish himself as a perimeter threat at the next level, his potential effectiveness significantly diminishes. On the flip side, Iguodala showed improvement on his stroke as a sophomore and has impressed teams with it in workouts. WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "Andre's a very good athlete, a good defender, good all-around player, comes from a winning program. He's a tough competitive kid and he's definitely a top-10 pick." - Washington Wizards general manager Ernie Grunfeld
