    VITALS: 6-6, 210, Michigan

OVERVIEW: Robinson spent four years at Michigan, where he was never a major scorer. After averaging 14.4 points in his freshman season, Robinson never reached that level again. Robinson made his mark by doing other things, leading the team in rebounds, steals and assists as a senior and helping the Wolverines to the National Invitation Tournament crown. Robinson shot just under 30 percent from the arc in his college career.

LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Late second round. Robinson had a solid showing in Chicago and did what he needed to do in order to keep himself in NBA draft contention.

    ROLE PROJECTION: Reserve

    COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Bruce Bowen

    COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Damian Owens

POSITIVES: Robinson does virtually everything you ask from a reserve. He fills the prototypical size for his position, can handle, is a great defender and passer, plays within the system and can score when his number is called upon.

SHORTCOMINGS: Until Robinson develops a consistent outside jumper, he will be an offensive liability at the NBA level. His unorthodox shooting mechanics may have something to do with his inconsistencies, which if not corrected could prevent him from succeeding as a role player in the league.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "You look at a guy like Bernard Robinson, there's a lot of things he can do. Good passer, defender. I like him." - NBA assistant director of scouting Ryan Blake
