"It's Adonal's job until somebody takes it," Montgomery said.

And so the Warriors on Friday introduced their newest draft picks, 7-foot Patrick O'Bryant and 7-2 Kosta Perovic, otherwise known as Foyle's latest competition in the middle.

Golden State drafted more than 14 feet of help at a position long neglected in stature, if not size. Foyle followed Erick Dampier, who followed Todd Fuller, who followed Felton Spencer, who followed countless others in the line of forgettable starters.

O'Bryant and Perovic have yet to play an NBA game, but both 7-footers are said to have soft hands and quick feet -- attributes rarely attached to Foyle and centers of Warriors' past.

That alone makes them intriguing prospects for the immediate future, especially with Andris Biedrins' continued improvement.

"We'll give these guys an opportunity to see how they can help us, whether they can give us a shot blocker inside, plug up the middle by moving across or give us length across," Montgomery said.

"Will they be a dominant rebounder? Guys that can go outside our territory or clean up the boards, allow us to run a little bit more? That remains to be seen." </div>

    Oh no...

C'mon Biedrins stay out of foul trouble and get stronger! C'mon POB put down the frying pans and start cooking up an offensive game!

Hopefully Mullin will take it, by trading the future governor of CA none other than Adonal Foyle.

I'd lobby to give the center position to Zarko with Ike starting over Murphy. That'd make two expensive backups right there, but at least we don't have to worry about the passing situation without Dunleavy or Baron as starter. But even though it would create a lot of scoring opportunities with Zarko as a passer and offensive nightmare, defensive and offensive rebounding would go to hell and so would interior defense.

Plus Zarko and Ike aren't consistent just yet. Murphy is consistently solid, but echhh.... If you think about Murphy he plays like Fisher now that he's got that contract.
