<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Orlando Magic hope that pulling off their biggest victory since the start of last season -- landing the top NBA lottery pick -- will put a smile on everyone's face. Particularly on Tracy McGrady's. "If things break well for us, Tracy may be as happy as we are," said Magic Senior Vice President Pat Williams, who will represent the club at the NBA draft lottery. "That could be a nice start for us."</div> Full Story Well the draft is on Wednesday and hopefully Orlando will land the top pick. (To Orlando locals- Anyone going to the Citywalk parties?) Anyways, the article emphasizes the importance of this years draft, and how McGrady will determine his future through this draft. Now, do you guys think this draft will determine whether McGrady stays or leaves? And what do you think would happen if we fell as far as the 5th pick overall? If that was the case, who would we draft? Because statistically we have a higher chance (35.6 percent) of getting the 5th pick in the upcoming draft than getting the 1st pick (25 percent).
I think the draft will determine if Tracy will stay. If we get the first pick and draft a superstar in the making( U guys should know who I'm talking about) that can help him lead this team physically and mentally through playing great games and talking great talks then he should stay. But if we draft a bust then he should leave.
We won't know if they are a bust or a good pick, until it might be too late. I hope Tmac will stay, but I hope that he won't determine whether or not he wants to stay just because of ping pong balls.
