If Leinart declares, then it maybe will be Dallas w/ the #2 pick & Miami w/ #11 & #20. Miami could then take the #20 which did belong Buffalo & trade down further to stockpile picks much like the niners did last year.
I've heard that Dallas is after a QB & would like to recreate the magic they did w/ Aikman. Belief in big D, as I gather, is they couldn't go wrong w/ either Leinart or Rodgers.
Tampa bay may also move down the draft board to stock pile more picks. We have 11 draft picks this year, with alot of work to do. My guess is we move down a few spots. Draft a wr like braylon edwards or mike williams then in rd 2 draft a rb. With 2 3rd rd picks im betting we go after a kcker like nugent from ohio st. The best kicker in college.
Man, they'd have to like Leinart a lot, given that they really need the two 1st rounders they have. Never say never with Jerry around, but I this scenario is unlikely. The only way this happens is if Parcells thinks he already has quite a few other positions already locked up via free agency....and there are a lot. Truly, though, Dallas is still going over their personnel and deciding whether to keep or drop some players and whether to go to a 3-4 or not. Until they decide that, they really can't say who they want to target in round 1. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a top WR.
I honestly beleive that Dallas would be better off taking a veteran and wait on Drew. And runninng it like 35 times a game frikin Julius Jones is amazing im sold on him after week 17
I think the should go another way with thier picks. Henson is too young keep him pick up a vet FA. He should come along. But evedently teams are not patient i.e. Lions Harrington
