Who do you want the Magic to take in the draft a swingman, point guard, or a big man? I hope that Danny Granger can fall to 11 and the Magic pick him up, then in the second round I hope the magic get Nate Robinson or a bigger Point Guard and David Lee to m this would be a pretty solid draft and make the Magic a much better and much more talented team. What do you guys think?

Here's how I'm thinking about it:

    IF: Wright is available
    DRAFT: Wright

IF: Webster is available but Wright isn't
    DRAFT: Webster

IF: Both Webster and Wright are available
    DRAFT: Webster

    IF: Neither are available
    DRAFT: Sean May

Danny Granger, Martell Webster, Antoine Wright, Joey Graham or Hakim Warrick. That is the order I would pick guys in at #11.

Joey Graham would be great for you guys, he is a great defender who can play the 3 and is physical enough to play the 4. I really like him and he is a steal fopr whoever gets him.

May is a great player, but I dont think he is a fit for the Orlando Magic. I mean I believe May is 6'9" that is not big enough to play center for a NBA team considering his mass he will not have the athletic ability to be quick like Ben Wallace is. Then we traded Gooden last off season, because Howard was going to be the teams power forward of the future, and did not want to play center. I dont think that should change considering Howard does not weigh enough to bang around in the paint with Shaq, and some other big men.

I do not know, but I would take a look at Mccants possibly as a sleeper who they might take a look at. Christie was a dissappointment after the trade to the Magic he got injured, and never did what he was asked to do for the team. Which was help improve the defense.

So the two guard spot would be wide open on the team unless they would like to continue with the Nelson/Francis back court. So I dont know I would take a look at Mccants if he is there. His projected draft spot has been up, and down some say he will go top ten, others say 10-16 possibly. So you never know.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Pure Skillz:</div><div class="quote_post">I believe May is 6'9" </div>Actually, May was measured at 6'7" in Chicago, further proving your point that he's not an NBA center.

BTW- Nice to see you posting here again. [IMG]

I was talking to shapecity on AIM and he said that he read an article about Dwight Howard switching to center next season. That means we need to look at getting a power forward either in the draft or in free angency. Another option would be drafting a shooting guard and trading Francis for a power forward.

I would rather get a SG then a PF/C in the first round(unless Frye is available). I hope we can get Webster or Wright if Frye is off the board. I gotta work that night, so I won't be able to watch the draft. [IMG]. We also have Stevenson at SG, he played very good when he got time at the end of the year, so Jameer/Francis isn't our only option. I would really rather have Francis and Stevenson starting with Jameer coming off the bench, so that we don't have too much of a defensive liability.
