Ok, Im making huge assumptions, like a trade with the Cowboys for the #1 overall pick, but this would be a nice draft for the Dolphins in my opinion:

    1st
    #20....Jeff Otah, T Pittsburgh
    #31....Fred Davis TE USC

    2nd
    #32....Ali Highsmith LB LSU
    #59....Trae Williams CB South Florida

    3rd
    #64....Tom Zbikoski SS Notre Dame

    4th
    #96....Hercules Satele G Hawaii

    6th
    #160....Kendall Langford DE Hampton

    7th
    #192....Ben Moffitt LB South Florida

If you can snag Highsmith in the 2nd, that's a steal.

Its the 2nd, but its really a late 1st since the 1st round was shortened due to some unfortunate cheating....

The Dolphins shouldn't make that trade with the Cowboys, they would be getting ripped off. A realistic trade scenario that makes the Dolphins a much much better team is trading the 1st overall pick for Derek Anderson + Cleveland's 2nd round pick.

With their own 2nd round pick I'm looking for Miami to take an offensive lineman that catches their eye. Then with the Browns 2nd round pick I look for the Dolphins to take a defensive player, that this draft is filled with.

Cleveland doesn't need Anderson because of Brady Quinn who they need to start developing soon. Anderson turned out to be quite the quarterback and looks like he can lead a team to the playoffs but Quinn's the QB of the future. The Browns missed the playoffs by a field goal...Anderson would be a great addition.

Miami needs more than one player to turn this franchise around and getting a proven signal caller is a great start. Let's be honest..Beck and Lemon won't max out potential to be more than Anderson. I will admit they were both pretty decent though and proved that they belong in the NFL.

I like 31, 32, & 96. Though, I'd go with Steltz from LSU rather than Zbikowski.

No to Derek Anderson and Hell no to trading for him!

I'd go with one less Defensive player and get a WR. I believe Marty Booker has played his last game a Dolphin.

Let me be brutally frank & honest; Derek A is not a proven commodity & is no more a sure thing than any other 1 hit wonder.

Bottom line; Beck has more upside than Lemon, Rick Mirer (I mean Brady Quinn ), or Anderson. He just needs more weapons & experience.

thats not the entire extent of the Cowboy trade, just the parts that are in this years draft....that trade included future #1s as well....

1st overall to Cleveland for Derek Anderson has -4% chance of happening....a more likely scenario would be to trade with the Cowboys and then send Clevelands original #1 to them for Brady Quinn....that I could see Tuna doing if he doesnt like Beck(which only he knows)....
