The Hawks named Larry Drew their new head coach on Friday and the decision may ultimately effect their ability to re-sign Joe Johnson this summer. Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution writes that the Hawks "want to move away from an isolation-heavy offensive approach that was influenced by guard Joe Johnson's playing style." The decision to move away from the style could be in case Johnson leaves as a free agent or to improve their postseason success. A source close to Johnson told the Journal-Constitution that Johnson is open to returning, but that the team's new coach would have to sell him on relying on his teammates more. http://blogs.ajc.com/hawks/2010/06/...-is-the-choice-for-coach/?cxntfid=blogs_hawks
