Fox Sports is reporting that Drexler is considering a comeback. Do you guys think he could help the Rockets? http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,3...2407551,00.html
I think that Drexler will make a return, and a very good one at that, but I doubt that he would do it with the Rockets. As of now, we have McGrady, Jackson, Sura, Gaines and Nachbar to play the swingman position that the Glide does. So while the Glide will probably have a successful comeback, I think it'll most likely be with the Nuggets or a team like the Bobcats.

Denver is stretch in that regard, but they are talented. Miami might be an interesting fit.
I think if he came back he'd probably play for Miami, Minnesota, San Antonio, etc.. Hard to see him wanting to go to a young team - but Denver is an interesting possibility with the addition of KMart they should be a playoff team for sure... and maybe he can mentor Carmelo into acting like an adult and school him a couple times in practice to help him realize he isn't "all that".

He thinks it would be an interesting challenge and something different. So, I think he'd want to be on a team where there are young players who are receptive to his advice, but also a team which is a legitimate title contender. Unfortunately, there aren't too many of those.
Clyde The Glide is going to end up playing for someone but not the Rockets, like Trip stated we have more than enough swingmen on our team already and all of them are hungry for minutes so Clyde wont/wouldnt want to return with us. I think that Clyde is going to return and play for a team like Miami, Minnesota, Sacremento, or even Dallas.
i doubt he will come to houston but he would be a great addition. having him backup t-mac and JJ would allow sura to play full-time PG. he could also be a great tutor for t-mac, reece gaines, and boki.
its a long stretch, but he could make a return to the blazers. Theres a team that he had history with, who are in desperate need of some help in both player and coaching areas. Portland are a team with ltos of talent, yet they never seem to convert it. If Shareef stays, along with players like Ratliff, Randolph and Darius, you've got a good mix of young players that Drexler could help out. I don't see drexler just wanting to join any team. Its gotta be a team that he really think deserve and a team that he has passions for. Only 2 teams i can think of is our Rockets (where there is no space), and the team that kick started his career.
