Bullcrap Vilanova deserves to be number one afterall they DID beat the number one team Connecticut and beat Georgetown who last time I checked beat Duke.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">Bullcrap Vilanova deserves to be number one afterall they DID beat the number one team Connecticut and beat Georgetown who last time I checked beat Duke.</div> Your logic is flawed... Duke beat Texas by 31, who last time I checked beat Villanova. I don't have a problem with Duke being #1, because they've got the most talented roster in the nation, have beaten quality opponents, and have the best record in the entire NCAA. There have been a lot of games where they probably could have or should have lost but were saved by a lucky shot or a bad call, but that's no reason to not rank them #1. As for the rest of the rankings, why is Florida still in the top ten? Earlier in the season everyone kept pointing to the wins over Syracuse and Wake Forest, but Syracuse is headed to the NIT and Wake Forest is 13-13 (1-11 in the ACC). Hell, they don't even have one of the two best records in their conference, and their conference is one of the worst in the NCAA. I can't figure out why these polls keep hanging onto them.
Very true. You can't base on if a team is better than another team on the teams that they beat beat. (Kind of hard to say) The rockets have beaten the clippers and the hawks. The hawks beat the pistons thus the rockets are better than the pistons. ^^voodoo's point
