<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When John Hammond, Joe Dumars' right-hand man with the Pistons, asks him about being a future Hall of Fame member, he says he gets no response.

Overview: The Bucks are 2-0 against the Pistons this season, with both victories coming at the Bradley Center, 96-90 and 89-86. Former Piston Mike James scored 20 points in leading the second victory. Milwaukee was a playoff team last season, losing to the Pistons in the first round, but is 20-28 this season, last in the Central Division.

"I have said to Joe many times, 'Hey, Joe some day you'll certainly be in the Hall of Fame,' and he never responds," Hammond said. "He never says, 'I know, I think it will happen.' He says nothing at all. I know it would be an honor for him. I don't know how many more people in this game could be more deserving than Joe Dumars to be inducted into the Hall of Fame."

He'll get his answer April 4, when this year's candidates will be elected from an initial list that includes Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Bernard King and a host of college coaches such as Jim Boeheim of Syracuse, Eddie Sutton of Oklahoma State, Jim Calhoun of Connecticut and Roy Williams of North Carolina.</div> Source
