<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tim Duncan missed his second-consecutive game Monday, but his left leg injury is improving, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said.

Duncan has continued to strengthen his quadriceps and the pain in his left knee has lessened. He can be activated from the injured list at any time, provided the Spurs don't replace him on the active roster.

Popovich didn't rule out Duncan playing against Seattle on Wednesday.

"I don't expect him to play on Wednesday," he said, "but he has gotten better every day and says he's feeling pretty good. Hopefully, he'll be back."
