Yeah, dunk contest wouldn't be his thing. He'd be worse than Amare because he isn't as athletic and doesnt have the creativeness+hangtime with the ball. Though, I wanna see him cock the ball all the way back to an 180 angle and dunk.

theres just something i dont like about tall dunkers, the tallest dunker i wanna see in the dunk comp is 6'9.

why not have him in the contest? i understand he may not win, but i would LOVE to see what he can come up with. i think it would be fun for all magic fans to have him compete. when's the last time a magic player was in the dunk contest?
I don't think he should enter either. He's game dunker and like others said I predict an Amare like performance. If he does enter, it would be interesting to see what he comes up with.
At least he's enthusiastic about doing it, unlike some of the other stars. I wouldn't be too disappointed if he got in it, who knows he could put on a show. I think he's more of a power dunker, but if he wants to be in it, let him enter. I'm sure he will have something up his sleeve. I believe Darrell Armstrong was the last Magic player in the dunk contest awhile ago.

If Dwight could only pull off power dunks, then how did he impress the people writing this article? He obviously did something crazy to make them write that.

I'm sure he could do something that we don't even think is possible. imo amare didnt do anything too breathtaking. if the little guy can win with a mediocre dunk, why cant a big guy win with something ridiculous? Whoever said Dwight doesn't have hangtime's a moron. The dude's got great hangtime, and he could do well in the contest.
