I don't care if Eric Musselman does it out of hate, love, necessity, respect, spite or indifference.

Musselman just has to do this one thing to make the rest of his Warriors coaching tenure, however long it lasts, worth something:

Play Mike Dunleavy and Mickael Pietrus, together and for as many minutes as possible in the remaining 23 games this season. Play them even if Musselman thinks Dunleavy, the No. 3 overall pick two drafts ago, is soft defensively and Pietrus, No. 11 last draft, is liable to somersault into the parking lot on his next fast-break drive.

Just play them. See what they can do for themselves, for each other, and for their teammates. Experiment with them more than Musselman allowed himself to do with Jiri Welsch, who barely played as a Warriors rookie last season before being traded.</div>

This is a great article. Musselmen really has nothing to lose by playing these guys. They are a huge part of the Warriors future. I like what I see already.

I'm all for playing the young guys just so that we can get a read on their value to this team.

Why not, we're a training camp for young players.

I read that article too. I agree. What is the point? You are not going to make the playoffs. You might have a chance to reach 38 wins, but what is the point in that? The season was riddled with injuries. It is a lost cause. The only good that can come out of the rest of this season is to give the fans what they want. They can not have the playoffs, so let them see their young talent grow. I can not wait for Murphy to get back so he can get into the mix too. If you win the games that is just icing on the cake. If you lose, then you might be securing a slightly better ping pong ball...

We need Murph bad. This season is gone but the remainder of it can be used to experiment with lineups for a better and more experienced lineup next year. It could be a Claxton/Richardson/Dunleavy/Murphy/Pietrus core next year.

Sad as it may be, you might be right. I cringe at the thought of Murphy playing big minutes at center.

Foyle will get a lot of minutes next year at the Center spot, and deservingly so.

I love Foyle. He's got a big heart, hustle, and he's a smart man. Plus, he'll provide the blocks, Murph will provide the boards.

I can't stand centers that don't block shots and Eschmeyer is definitely not a shotblocker. He'll have to be the backup. Luckily at 3 mil a year he's a bargain backup center.

He could be like Hermes from Futurama. Carribean accent and all. (He's a cartoon character accountant on that show for those who don't know)

I think if I'm reading theFuller right, he's talking about a Futurama reference. If not then he's babbling nonsense. [IMG]

The top of his head does. Zoidberg's got better hands on the ball though.

Adonal is a smart guy and all, but he graduated with a degree in History. But I think I know where you're getting at TF, Adonal supports a program that teaches young people the benefits of investing I believe. He's still going for his Master's at JFK I think?

How about this for a starting lineup next year (provided we resign Adonal): Speedy/JRich/MDjr/Murph/Foyle?
