Can we hire him here and get rid of Bob Hill?

He doesn't really seem suited for a head coaching position to me. I can't say that with the utmost certainty since I haven't followed him much in Minnesota but it seemed like he was good at preparation and bad at leadership. Some guys have all the talent in the world but they're just not fit to be leaders.

Not that he shouldn't get another chance. He's certainly better than Bob Hill.

Minnesota's front office hardly gave him a balanced roster to work with, but then he's still got talent there. I'd be all for giving him a chance here, but that's just more money we don't have/don't want to spend.

Dwane got a raw deal -- his locker room seemed harmonious, he worked around many injuries, and to be frank he shouldn't be held accountable for McHale ineptness as a GM.

I was looking forward to seeing him come back to the Emerald City last Friday. The true mark of equal opportunity employment is for a coach to get a chance to get another job after he has been "hugged." I hope that Dwane gets another opportunity but chances are that he won't.

    P.S.

I've been on the road for a week and haven't been able to get on a computer. It's good to be back.

Just a little bit. He had a team expected to be in the lottery at .500 and in the 8th seed in the West. That would have him top of the Atlantic too. Ridiculous and makes no real sense, unless there were problems behind the scenes.
